Reminders are the part of hosting nobody enjoys. Addressed sends them on a schedule you set, at hours guests are awake.
Step by step
- Edit Event → RSVP & reminders: set the RSVP deadline and the reminder schedule. Reminders go only to guests who have not answered.
- Automatic RSVP reminder texts are checked hourly and sent between 10 AM and 7 PM in each guest's local time.
- To send one now, open Broadcast and choose RSVP reminder. Pick the audience (everyone who has not replied, or a selection), read the preview, and send. The confirmation shows how many credits it will use.
- Broadcast also offers Ask for addresses and Your own message, for anything else you need to tell guests.
- Nothing is texted overnight. An invitation or reminder due between 9 PM and 8 AM guest time is held and the row reads Scheduled with the time it will go.
- To send one guest's invitation again, use Resend invitation on their row (once an hour per guest), or Resend to undelivered from the Message menu.
Good to know
- Every text after the first is one message credit to a US or Canadian number; texts abroad count more, by country.
- Guests who replied STOP are left out of every reminder and broadcast automatically.
