Messages is one thread per guest per event. Most of it runs itself; the inbox is for the moments that need you.
Step by step
- Open Messages. Each conversation shows the guest, the last message and a count of replies; pick an event at the top if you have more than one.
- When the AI records an answer, you see both the guest's text and the confirmation it sent back in the same thread.
- When a guest asks something the AI should not answer on its own, it tells them it has passed the question to the host, and the conversation is flagged Needs your reply.
- You also get an email about it (at most one per conversation an hour) with a link straight to the thread. Turn that email off under Profile → Preferences if you prefer the inbox alone.
- Reply from the thread. Your reply goes out as a text from Addressed to that guest, and the flag clears.
- Export the conversations for an event from the inbox when you need a record outside the app.
Good to know
- The AI stops replying once an event's included AI replies are used up; YES, NO and addresses are still recorded, and other questions get a pointer to the event page.
- Replies that come in overnight are answered right away by the AI; only outgoing invitations and reminders wait for the guest's morning.
